Walk into a room and have the lights automatically turn on - different lights according to the light levels - fewer on a bright summers day and more on a dark winters morning. 

Have a different lighting scene when you turn on the TV and then switch switch back to the original state when you turn it off.

Detect when the washing cycle has completed and then configure the system to send you a message to let you know that the machine is ready to empty.

Create a routine which detects when a bedroom is empty and then turns everything off

Set the Smart Plug to only operate during off peak hours or to disable it during peak hours.
